This family photograph that was appropriated into this video was taken in my mother's apartment in Hollywood, CA., Christmas of 1969. She poses by a white Christmas tree, doll, and snowman. As she poses by the these objects, an image of myself sings a fragmented version of the popular American Christmas song “White Christmas" in her ear. Leaving out any references to Christmas, the lyrics read:
"I'm dreaming...Just like...Where...to hear...I'm dreaming...May your days be merry and bright...and may all..."
